Obituary for Charles John Nadeau

Charles John  Nadeau
Charles John Nadeau- age 92 of Lake passed away on Friday, September 23, 2016 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center in Midland. Charles was born to parents Jerome Gerard and Katherine (Van Wassenova) Nadeau on February 23, 1924, in Newport Michigan. Charles proudly served our country with the Army Air Force, G-3 Squadron, 464th AAF Base Unit during WWII. He was decorated with a Distinguished Unit Badge, American Theatre Ribbon, EAME Ribbon with a Bronze Star and Good Conduct Medal. On October 4, 1947 he married a beautiful bride named Rosemary Jane Macoit in Lincoln Park, MI. Together they raised three children and Charles made a living as a machinist for Fabricon Products. He loved television, never missing the news twice a day, sporting events and game shows. He and his family attended church at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Evart. He is survived by his children; Charles J. Nadeau, Jr. and wife JoAnne of Lake, Catherine and husband David Hill of Apex, NC, Renee and husband Ted Blair of Southgate, six grandchildren; Rebecca Killough, Charles Nadeau III, Andrew and Michael Nadeau, Jason (Katie) Blair, and Keri ( Bob) Martin, four great-grandchildren; Makaylah and Ashlynn Turner, Cate and Christopher Killough, Parker & Layla Blair, Maggie & Blake Martin,three brothers; Frank Nadeau of Delaware, George (Betty) of Taylor, and Edward (JoAnn) Nadeau of Florida. He was preceded in death by his wife Rosemary on Sept. 12, 2013, one brother, Jerome Nadeau, and four sisters; Angeline, Pauline, Annabelle, and Annie (Blair) Nadeau. A service is planned for Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 11 AM, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Evart. Fr. Joe Fix will give final rites with burial in Garfield Twp. Cemetery. Friends and family may visit at the church on Monday, Sept. 26th, from 4 until 8PM. Memories and condolences may be shared online at www.CampbellStocking.com
