Obituary

Gerald Eugene Bemis- age 71 of Farwell passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019 in Midland.

CROSSING THE BAR

Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea

But such a tide as moving seems asleep
Too full for sound and foam
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home

Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;

For tho’ from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crost the bar.
Alfred Lord Tennyson [1889; publ. 1889]

Butch love to laugh. Bigger than life. Kay and Butch ..the cutest couple .
I appreciate the good memories. They were teaching me how to be an electrician.

Uncle Butch. What to say, I love you. Through the years you have always been there, by far one of my favorite people. Your humor, your guidance, your ability to lighten any situation simply by being "you". I'm so grateful to have been a part of your life and will hold you in my heart forever.
