Gertrude C. Dullinger – passed away in her home in Farwell, MI on Monday, January 27th, 2020. Gertrude was born in Flint, MI on February 6, 1919 to parents Seeley and Iva (Newcombe) Michael. She recently celebrated her 100th birthday with her name on the marquis at the Doherty Hotel in Clare, MI. She was united in marriage to Roland N. Dullinger on June 24, 1939. Roland preceded her in death, but they enjoyed 60 years of marriage. Gertrude was a member of the National WWII Museum and other charities. She enjoyed writing letters, reading, art, swimming (50-mile club) and family gatherings at their cottage.

She is survived by a daughter, Joyce Newberry, grandchildren Stephanie Wittbrodt, Tony Wittbrodt, Todd (Tasha) Elick and Shannon Anderson, great-grandchildren Hailie and Natalie Mathis, Anthony and Jacob Wittbrodt, Tristan and Caleb Elick, Logan and Luke Anderson, and great-great-grandson Dallas Thompson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Dullinger, a daughter, Janet Elick, a son, Douglas Dullinger, son in law Craig Elick, as well as her brothers Jack and Bob Michael.

A memorial service for Gertrude will be held in June 2020.
