Jeff Allen Pfund - age 46 of Lake, MI was a wonderful and warm-hearted man who was taken from earth too soon on August 14, 2020 alongside his love, Nikki Sue Yoder. Jeff was born on March 31st, 1974 in Bay City, Michigan to his loving parents Ronald Pfund and Christine Pfund (Burgess). He graduated in 1993 from Birch Run High School and shortly after pursued a career in truck driving for a construction agency where he had the opportunity to travel throughout the United States. During which he saw and experienced so many things that life has to offer. He always came home with excitement in his eyes; bearing stories to tell and souvenirs for his family and young daughter, Emily. Jeff also compiled many merits playing for his favorite hockey team, The Flint Generals.

However great his travels and athletic achievements were; nothing meant more to Jeff than being a father. He loved his daughter with all of his heart and cherished his time spent with her. Jeff was a real outdoorsman, with a love of anything that could be done in fresh air and sunshine; Jeff enjoyed floating in the sun, snowmobiling, fishing, feeling the wind on his face while riding his motorcycle down a long stretch of road, and boating with his friends on Crooked Lake. Jeff always had a smile on his face while basking in the light of his real and abiding passions; being with his family and friends.
Jeff’s smile brightened the whole world, anyone who knew him knew of the pure kindness that came along with him. He never looked for praise and always worked so hard, especially for the ones he loved most. To know Jeff was to truly love all that he was. Jeff is survived by his father Ron Pfund and Liz Schaff, his grandmother Leona Burgess, daughter Emily Brooke Hagy of Haslett, two sisters; Jamie Pfund and Chad Strobel of Davison, Stacy Pfund and David Peters of Farwell, five nieces and nephews; Jeff Burleson, Cheyanne and Taylor Barteck, Logan Cross, Dakota Brandon, and Anna Johnson, two great nieces; Sophia Levi and Eloise Barteck, and a host of other family members and friends.
