_Vickie Lou Canterbury- age 55 of Sterling Heights, formerly of Lake, went to Heaven on September 1, 2020. Vickie was born on December 26, 1964, the daughter of William and Betty (Powell) Hunt, Bohy, and was a graduate of Chippewa Hills High School. She worked for Kentucky Fried Chicken for 23 years most recently as a Crew Chief and Supervisor. Vickie loved her cats and she always had a smile on her face for everyone. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Megan Canterbury, her mother Betty (Hunt) Bohy, sisters; Nadene (Matt) Clark, Wilma Brumit, Marcia (Walt) Coppens, brothers; Randy Hunt, George (Penny) Hunt, her step-family; Fred (Reva) Bohy, Eric (Kim) Bohy, Carl (Renee) Bohy, Larry Bohy, Traci (Greg) Baumbeck, many nieces and nephews, her fiancée Christopher Giacopelli of Sterling Heights and her beloved cats Cocoa and Lily. She was preceded in death by her Dad, William George Hunt and stepfather George William Bohy, grandparents Floyd and Sarah Hunt, and Glenn and Balance Powell. A Celebration of Vickie’s Life is planned for Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 2PM at the Bethany Baptist Church, 10232 Lake Station Ave, Lake, Michigan. Pastor Gene Hockey will officiate. Friends and family may visit at the church from 1PM until the time of service at 2PM.
