Jay was my Grandpa's most trusted friend. Whenever my grandpa needed something, no matter what, Jay was there. Kind, caring, funny, a joker, dependable, Jay was all that. I'll miss visiting Jay with my grandpa when I visit Lake, he will be missed. I'm so sorry for your loss. Pam (George and Georgia Maples grand daughter)

Jason was my uncle and I first remember him back in the late 50's. There was a Thanksgiving gathering at the grandparents, his folks, and as always the family gatherings had many people attending! But what he did this day was bring a huge color TV to the house so all could watch the Macy's parade in color. I realize in this day and age this doesn't sound special considering you can watch TV on your phone these days but we all got a kick out of it! He was always doing something for others and I guess that's why I remember this little happening from some 60 years ago, he will be missed!
