Nada Ruth Cook, 83, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother of Lake, Michigan passed away on October 10, 2020 at home with her family after a prolonged illness.

Nada was born on June 29, 1937 in Clare County, Michigan to Clarence and Lois V. (Marks) Cook.
Over the years, she worked in farming, the service industry, as well as manufacturing, but her pride and joy was her kids and grandkids and her immaculate home. Nada loved playing cards and played Euchre frequently.
She was a member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aeries #3761 in Lake, the Loyal Order of the Moose in Clare and the Lake Rod and Gun Club.
Nada was always civic minded whether it was working the fair barns during judging, clerking the horse pulls or serving as an election inspector/chairperson, she was out front serving her community in many ways.
Nada is survived by her son, Vernon C. Duddles of Tipton, Michigan, her daughters, Dixie L. Adams (Louis) and Debbra K. Kellogg both of Farwell, Michigan and her dedicated significant other of 30 years, Alvin J. Jones of Lake, Michigan, as well as 14 grandkids and 20 great grandkids.
She was preceded by her parents, brother Harold D. Cook, and sister in law, C. Dawn Cook.
Visitation will take place at Campbell Stocking Funeral Home in Farwell from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 13, 2020. A funeral service is planned the following day, Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Campbell Stocking Funeral Home. Nada will be laid to rest in the Surrey Township Cemetery.
