Dolores Anne Louwers- age 90, passed away on Monday November 2, 2020 at North Woods Nursing Center in Farwell. Dolores was born on December 31, 1929 in East Detroit, the daughter of Euclid Roland and Anna Marie (Schmidt) Douglas. She graduated High School and married Donald Louwers on October 1, 1949 at Sacred Heart in Detroit. She and Donald raised six children. Dolores liked to play Bingo, garden and go to casinos. Dolores is survived by her sons; Kris Louwers and wife Paula of Farwell, Neil Louwers and wife Maxine of Westland, daughters; Michele Louwers of Farwell, Shari Wale and husband Keith of Farwell, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and brother Donald Douglas. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald, two sons, Adam & Mark Louwers, brothers Chuck and Robert Douglas, sisters, Sharon, Kathy, Mary Ann, and daughter-in-law Denise. A funeral Mass is planned for Friday, Nov. 6, 2020 at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church at 11:00 AM. Monsignor Francis Koper will officiate with burial at Brookside Cemetery in West Branch. Family and friends may visit from 4:00 until 7PM on Thursday, November 5th at the Campbell Stocking Funeral Home in Farwell. Face masks and social distancing will be required.
