Robert “Bob” L. Dewey – Age 68 of Farwell, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at MidMichigan Regional Medical Center – Midland. Bob was born in Mount Pleasant to parents William Arthur and Elva June (Osborn) Dewey on December 14, 1952. He joined the United States Navy and served his country honorably. Most of his life he worked as a certified nurse's aide, caring for the elderly. Bob enjoyed country music and was a sports fanatic. His biggest hobby was watching his favorite teams, the Green Bay Packers and the NY Yankees. Bob loved being an uncle to his many nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his siblings: Stewart (Sharon) Dewey, Alvin Dewey and his significant other, Mary, Doug (Pam) Dewey, Pat (Karen) Dewey, Cheryl McKindles, and Robin (Jeff) Thornton, as well as his adoring nieces and nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, William and Elva Dewey, and a brother, Bill Dewey.
According to his wishes, a cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date, details of the service will be updated at that time.
