Anna Marie “Peggy” Coker- age 72 passed away at her home in Beaverton on Monday, April 26, 2021. Peggy was born the eighth child to a family of eleven children to parents Maynard Lawrence and Ida B. (Turner) Lockwood on February 8, 1949 in Saginaw, Michigan. She attended Bridgeport High School and soon after was married to Richard Coker, in Farwell, Michigan on October 15, 1966. Richard and Peggy raised 3 children together as Peggy took great joy in caring for her home and family. She loved to bake, knit, crochet, and was a voracious reader. She adored her grands and great-grand as well as her cats. Peggy will be greatly missed by her son Frank Earl Coker and wife Becky of Gladwin, grandchildren; Coty Coker of Beaverton, Katie Rademacher and husband Kyle of Belding, great grandson Wyatt, brother Art Lockwood and wife Gale of Bridgeport, sisters; Pat Eaves of Bridgeport, Marion Smith and husband John of Bridgeport, Donna Wendt of Hessel, and a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Richard, son Joseph, daughter Cheryl, and five brothers. A funeral service is planned for Friday, April 30th, 2021 at 1PM at the Campbell Stocking Funeral Home in Farwell. Steven Levine will officiate with burial following at Surrey Twp. Cemetery. Memorial considerations to Leukemia Foundation or to the family in care of Frank Coker. Envelopes will be made available at the Funeral Home.
